Autumn Shoot

Kent wedding suppliers doing what they do best.

This was my first ever involvement in a bridal shoot and it was special! When Carrie, the amazing creative force behind Toto Caelo – hair styling and make-up design studio, approached me after weeks of mutual Instagram stalking, I jumped at the chance to collaborate. I knew straight away that she ‘got’ Nurstead and loved it (very important). In what seemed like an unfeasible short time she had got together some of Kent’s very best wedding suppliers, three ‘brides’ and one (lucky or unfortunate – you decide) ‘groom’. Kevin from KND Photography was behind the lens and his relaxed, assured demeanor was both infectious and reassuring – ideal qualities in a wedding photographer. The other key player in the day was Delphine, Carrie’s totally wonderful mum – because behind every good creative is a creative mother! (isn’t that how the saying goes?).

We started in the Library with this gorgeous pair! The groom is dressed by Cheeks of Bexley, the bride by Diana Elizabeth Bridal and the beautiful flower crown and buttonhole were created by Some Enchanted – floral designer based in Hythe.

We continued into the garden where Lucy looked unspeakably romantic and classic in this beautiful dress by Miss Kay Seamstress from Tunbridge Wells. And Hannah hung out among the roses also wearing Miss Kay.

Round to the front of the house, and doesn’t this beautiful Rolls Royce from Heritage Cars suit it! I had no idea what it took and how many people were involved in creating an image like this until this day! But whatever the effort, it was definitely worth it!

Light couture lit up the marquee with LOVE…

… and the bridal suite at Stable Cottage was filled with joy! We even had a bride in the bath… (impeccably dressed by Hi Brow Brides)

When the time came, it was hard to say goodbye…
